Hurricane Harvey continues to devastate Houston. Though it began last week and the sun’s rays gave residents slight hope today, Harvey actually returned to give them more and headed toward the Louisiana state line. The floodwaters reached a record-shattering four feet and the deaths continue. Harvey claimed at least twenty-one victims, including six members of the same family. United Way of Greater Houston has organized a relief fund. It is currently focusing on the roughly 30,000 expected to need emergency shelter and will later focus on long term needs.
