Men’s Fashion Week
The creative fashion power team that introduced Philly Fashion Week to Philadelphia in February 2014 throughout the city of Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley delivered a show that featured an All Male Revue: their First Annual Luxe Men's Runway Show, held June 8, 2014 and featuring top national and international menswear designers at the Crane Arts, 1400 N. American Street in Philadelphia, where they featured the area’s top designers of mavens fashion, honored and acknowledged Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Bowlings, founders of Atlantic City Fashion Week, and other key players who also create, promote and support the fashion industry and arts in our area.
KDMorris: Were there any new designers or clothing lines introduced during this event?
PFW: Sir Legacy is a new up-and-coming designer, and we look forward to seeing more from him.
KDMorris: For this event, give us a list of "Who's Who" of designers who made the event successful.
PFW: Clarenz Couture, NATIV New York, closet By Christobal and my collection Vintage tux were my favorites of the evening...
KDMorris: What was the highlight of the event, and which designer should we expect to see more of?
PFW: Highlights were for sure the honoring of Cameron Washington and Lamont Bowling for their contribution to the fashion industry... And people should look forward to much more from NATIV New York.
KDMorris: As a team, it appears that you have found a market and arena for fashion, bringing it back to Philadelphia. What major events do you have scheduled for the near and distant future?
PFW: We are currently preparing for Philadelphia Fashion Week in September, and we know this will be the biggest event in the history of Philadelphia Fashion Week and we are so excited. In the mean time we are working on our modeling agency and styling company. In July we had a huge editorial in Harper’s Bazaar Mag Vietnam.
